Stupid Breathing

Sometimes, I don't like going over Tommy's house. Uncle Stu acts weird. He is always in his basement making toys and Aunt Didi is always sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee. They don't pay any attention to me! They are supposed to be looking after me! I should tell daddy on them…if he remembers to come get me this time…

I was so bored sitting in the room by myself playing with the toys uncle stu made. These toys are stupid! Like this doll, its supposed to be the doll that when you lay it down its eyes close and when you pick it up it opens. But this dolls eyes are always closed! It never opens unless I makes it open! But even Uncle Stu got that wrong!! When I open the eyes, I never see the little black stuffs in your eyes that helps you see. I see the white stuffs. It doesn't even say mama! When you press its tummy, it doesn't make a sound and it feels squishy and icky! YUCK! Then the other dolls are all hard and cold.

The grown-ups are weird. Every time I come over to Uncle Stu's house and I want to see Tommy, they say he is sleeping. Sometimes he is, most the time he is not! Like sometimes I see him sitting in his high chair next to Aunt Didi. Aunt Didi is crying and Tommy is just sitting in his high chair all weirdly and smiling. Or when I went to go yell at Uncle Stu for this stupid doll, Tommy is sitting on Uncle Stu's work bench, swinging his legs.

Sometimes…I don't like looking at Tommy. His eyes are closed and he has all this weird crusty stuff on his face. Crusty red stuffs.  He doesn't open his eyes unless I make him…and sometimes I can't make him. So, he will just lay there on the floor, breathing all weirdly, his eyes all closed and smiling at me. I thought he can't see me with his eyes closed, but if I walk to the other side of him, he will move his head and look at me. Well, not really look at me…or maybe he can sees with his eyes closed.

I'll tell him to open his eyes and get up and play with me, and he does. He does whatever I say.  He gets up and says he is ready to play. Tommy walks slowly, I think its cause of the way his legs are. I can never race with him or nothing! He walks so slow. And then he breathes weirdly too when he moves. He breathes like there is something caught in his throat. Sounds like it hurts. And also! When he hugs me! He feels all cold and squishy and then hard…like the dolls. Yuck!

Tommy moves so slow with whatever he does. And his eyes are always closed! How can he see anything? Tommy is just as weird as his parents, he also smells stinky. Do the grown-ups ever change him? Tommy is such a lazy baby. Sometimes Tommy will be play a game with me, or I am yelling at him for not getting me cookies and he will fall on his back and not move. I think he falls asleep. With that stupid smile on his face and his weirdly breathing.

I hate hearing Tommy breathe. When I am at home in my bed sleeping I can hear him. It's so loud! When I cry for daddy, he comes in and yells at me to be quiet. I tell him I hear Tommy breathing and he gives me a angry look and says that is not funny Angelica. I tell him to listen but he says he doesn't hear anything and if I keep this up I was gonna get in trouble.

Why doesn't Daddy ever hear Tommy breathing?
